Carolyn O’Donnell, M.D.

Carolyn O’Donnell grew up in Massachusetts, and still loves the beauty and contrasting seasons of New England. She adores children, and takes immense joy in watching her patients grow, learn and thrive. She treats all patients the same way she would want her own children to be treated. Dr. O’Donnell takes her position as a pediatrician and child advocate seriously, and believes strongly in the benefit of vaccinations toward keeping children healthy and safe. She believes every child is unique, special and precious. Over the years she has developed a particular interest in post-infections processes and the brain body connection.

Dr. O’Donnell went to college at UMass Amherst, trained at UMass Medical School, and continued there for residency. She began practicing at Acton Medical in 2010, and plans to stay “forever.” In her free time she enjoys gardening and playing outside with her two children, reading, and DIY home renovations. She is also quite content enjoying life’s simple pleasures.  One of Carolyn’s favorite phrases is; “The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.”
