Nicole Burdett
Nicole Burdett is a Family Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Athol, Massachusetts. She earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Mount Wachusett Community College, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Worcester State University, and a Master of Science in Nursing with a Family Nurse Practitioner concentration from the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School in Worcester.
Nicole brings extensive nursing experience in both hospital and community settings. She began her career at Seven Hills in Groton before joining Nashoba Valley Medical Center, where she worked in medical-surgical care and later transitioned to the Intensive Care Unit. She went on to spend more than nine years caring for critically ill patients in the ICU at Saint Vincent Hospital and also served as a Nursing Supervisor at Heywood Hospital. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Nicole participated in fit testing and vaccination efforts to help protect and support fellow healthcare workers.
As a provider, Nicole enjoys partnering with patients to help them achieve their health goals and improve their overall well-being. Her background in critical care and healthcare leadership has given her a strong clinical foundation and a broad perspective on patient care. She values building meaningful relationships with patients and providing compassionate, individualized, patient-centered care.
Outside of work, Nicole stays busy with her three children and jokes that she serves as their “unofficial, unpaid Uber driver” between sports, dance, and other activities. She enjoys spending time with friends, camping, and being outdoors with her family. Nicole appreciates the supportive and collaborative environment at Acton Medical and looks forward to caring for patients in the community.
